MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL

Have there been moments, days, even years you have felt... Stuck?Really stuck!
You forgot what you used to be so passionate about.

You forgot your Identity and wonder why and how you managed to force yourself in, even when you knew you were the square peg in a round hole.

It's probably always cliché to say
"Know what you want from life, the answers always come from there"

That statement being so direct,  you feel like you're being attacked. Well, what on earth do you do then?

As often as we grow and learn everyday, in the same way, our perspective on life changes. Our values even.

I spoke with an Aunt recently and she reminded me of the need to make constant, intentional, achievable steps.

I really believe things that matter are what should be chased after. These things are what I am learning to do.

What do you know about Blindspot? ( not the series lol) The actual word...

1. Blindspot
The Collins dictionary gives the first meaning of a blindspot as something a person is unable to understand or see the importance of.

"The prime minister has a blind spot on ethical issues".

It is important that once in a while you have sincere people with sincere intentions, point your Blindspot out, so you know where to begin the tweaking. It could either be in character or career or family or life issues generally. This way you have an up-to-date assessment of yourself and are not walking out of the purposed path. You know when to control anger or when to hold your tongue and observe before doing certain things

2. Accepting you don't know!
This suggests no one is a know-it-all. We live everyday learning over and over. Never be too proud of knowing too much, soon, you will be humbled!

3. Having someone to look up to in that particular area, someone you admire and you know can guide you. I.e mentors( both from far and one-on-one mentors)

4. Joining communities/ support groups
The popular phrase 'no man is an island' depicths the fact that people, when isolated from others don't do too well and they need to be in some sort of  community in order to thrive.

5. What do you see?
Do you look in the mirror and become disgusted by yourself? It's honestly important we see ourselves as people, humans that can beat ourselves up today, get up and do better tomorrow. Whatever it is...
