Embrace Your Narrative: Walking with Purpose and Faith
Your existence and life stories are already speaking. What do you choose to do with those stories? For those who are coming behind you... take the pressure off and just BE! Walk with God.
If you feel the pressure of being, just pause and think. In being, it's really not about you. It's beyond who you are and what you want. It's first fundamentally about building capacity to equip you for influence and service.
You will have many moments of insecurity and uncertainty. There are some days you will literally feel like a fraud. Like you don't deserve to be in a certain room or position but watch it!
Be careful to see that you're not just in your head and believing the lies probably even created by nobody else but you.
What you do with those thoughts is entirely up to you. I know we have heard, "it's a process. It's a journey", we most likely will continue to hear it because it is true.
Many times I look back and wonder what would have become of me if I hadn't gone through all of the things I went through. All these experiences, as much as they have scarred me in unique ways, they have made me a whole lot stronger and wiser.
It's crazy to say, but I thank God for the tears because what they have done is opened my eyes to better, wiser ways of living. As young as I am, I am glad because of the opportunity these experiences gave me. I would have never done some things, been to some of the places I have been, had the kind of access and understanding I do now.
All I am trying to say is, although nobody really has it all figured out, we all still have gifts good enough to offer the world. The gift of experiences and lessons. It's terrifying, sometimes traumatic to admit but we have to become grateful for what we have been through. Like the Bible says, God comforts us in our troubles so we can bring comfort to others.
I'll stop here. I don't know what else to say in this moment, to be honest but I hope that in all of this, I have been able to help YOU who is reading. Until the next post, keep your head up. You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. Most importantly, Jesus loves you, just the way you are.
